DIRECTIONS: There is no
public transportation serving the
area, so you will have to get here by vehicle, bicycle, or on foot. The
campground entrance is on VT 108, two
miles north of the Smugglers’ Notch resort and three miles south of
Jeffersonville. The northern access point for VT 108 is from VT 15 at
Jeffersonville and the southern access is from VT 100 in Stowe. The drive from
Stowe through Smugglers’ Notch is best made during daylight as the seasonal road
passes between towering cliffs, well worth a visit in themselves.
